This is not just background music – it is a carefully crafted musical experience designed to enhance your event.
While my brand name celebrates classic contemporary arrangements from the 1990s and beyond, my foundational repertoire features a rich catalogue of elegant Classical Masterpieces and Smooth Jazz standards. I custom-curate every setlist to match the specific energy of your event, whether you need sophisticated background music for a corporate gala in Oakville, a serene setting for a Celebration of Life, or a lively mix for an outdoor Vinyard Wedding.
Absolutely. I believe the music should uniquely reflect your story. Whether it is a specific classical piece for your wedding processional or a sentimental pop track for a milestone party, I am happy to craft custom arrangements. Please share your specific requests on the intake/contact form or at our initial consultation so I have adequate time to prepare them beautifully.
Not at all. I specialize in delivering a clean, warm, traditional acoustic violin sound. To achieve this with studio-grade clarity — and entirely avoid the harsh room feedback, screeching, or background noise common with traditional microphones — I use a specialized line-in instrument: a Yamaha Silent Electric Violin (YEV). I just love it. The engineering setup allows me to control the volume precisely, ensuring the music sounds rich and authentic whether it needs to whisper beneath a cocktail conversation or project clearly across a large hall.
No. I am completely self-sufficient. I provide my own, professional compact sound reinforcement system that handles all amplification needs seamlessly. The setup has minimal physical footprint, keeping your venue looking clean and elegant.
Yes, I regularly perform outdoors throughout the spring, summer and autumn. My sound reinforcement system is highly adaptable and projects beautifully in open-air spaces, from intimate backyard patios to lakeside wedding ceremonies. For the safety of the sound equipment and my Violin, outdoor performances require a flat, completely dry surface and overhead shelter from direct rain or extreme heat.
I am based locally and proudly provide music services across the Halton region and Southern Ontario. My regular travel radius includes Burlington, Oakville, West Mississauga, Hamilton, Niagara, Kitchener, Cambridge, and Guelph. If your event is outside these primary zones, please reach out directly to discuss custom travel arrangements.
Peak weekend dates– especially during the spring and summer wedding and corporate seasons — frequently book 6 to 12 months in advance. To guarantee availability, I recommend reaching out as soon as your venue and date are locked in. Bookings are officially secured upon the signing of a standard performance contract and the receipt of a retainer fee.
Weekday events generally fill in much closer to the date – so please do not hesitate to reach out even on what you may consider “short notice”.
My experience may be helpful to you in deciding how/when to integrate music into an event. From Preludes that establish and propagate momentum, reinforcing important moments, during transitions, filling an awkward silence, offering an emotional container, to adding a surprise, I can recommend where to place your violinist within your ceremony for the greatest impact.
